Trigger Objects
From time to time we have used trigger object to see if there are any spirits around that can move or influence objects. The way we have conducted these experiments is to find a location that will not be disturbed by the team and then set the trigger object so that it cannot be moved due to vibration etc Set a video camera on a locked off tripod, aim the camera at the object, then close all doors and widows, monitor the objects for a few minutes to see if they have moved when you shut the room off. If it is possible, tape the door and window cracks with duck (duct) tape and look for any insects that maybe in the room and remove them. Try not to use fly spray, as this could give you orb type images, good way is to use one of those ultraviolet fly traps, remember to turn it it off before you start as this unit can also interfere with your cameras and EVP recordings. A good easy experiment is to use flour on a table top, record with your camera what it looks like before and after the allotted time of the experiment, also be sure that no outside influence can disturb the experiment. Marbles on a sheet of paper is a common experiment and has had some success, marbles can roll with the slightest vibration i.e. cars going past, closing of other doors in the location (pressure waves generated by the closing of doors). mark out random points on the sheet of paper place the marbles on the marked points and then record the positions, squared paper is good for this. Pendulums hanging over a marked point, again would move if an outside influence were to happen as above, so again you would need to monitor it from a safe point, possibly by use of a video camera. This set up is very similar to the marble test. |
